为进一步提高凤庆县茶叶制作水平，提升茶产品质量，加快品牌建设，推动茶产业发展，树立安全、生态、健康新形象，由中共凤庆县委、县人民政府主办，凤庆县茶叶协会承办的2018年凤庆县“滇红杯”名优茶评比大赛于12月25日在凤庆举行。

本届大赛设立“滇红杯”传统工夫红茶、名特优滇红茶、晒青毛茶、普洱生茶金奖各1名、银奖各2名、铜奖各3名，大众最喜爱茶叶奖1名，共25个奖项。

2018年12月25日晚，凤庆县相关政府部门及国内茶叶评审专家对获奖企业颁奖，其中凤庆古路湾茶厂选送的“红土宝藏” 砖茶获得普洱茶生茶类金奖；云南凤庆蒲门茶业有限公司选送的“团结古树”获得了晒青毛茶类金奖，云南凤庆蒲门茶业有限公司选送的“金芽极品”获得了名特优滇红茶类金奖；云南滇红集团股份有限公司选送的“滇红工夫”获得了工夫红茶类金奖；凤庆县红河茶业有限公司选送的“大金针”获得了凤庆县大众最喜爱茶叶奖；另外，凤庆县三岔河镇涌京村、雪山镇新平村、凤山镇红塘村获得最具开发潜力奖。

此次大赛取得了圆满成功，临沧市茶办副主任、茶叶专家江鸿键对云报文旅全媒体记者阐释了举办此次大赛的意图，他认为，临沧是中国最大的红茶产区，凤庆县是“滇红茶”的原产地，举办这样一个赛事，可以对县内茶叶加工水平进行摸底排查，还能够将凤庆县内不同产区的茶叶特点找出来，通过比赛将对茶叶企业进行生产加工方面的引导，鼓励他们多与市场接轨。
